Customize notification types

You can notify resources via e-mail, task request or meeting request. There are templates for the different types of planning elements and events which you can customize.

Please proceed as follows to customize a notification template:

Open the InLoox PM options.
For more information on how to open the InLoox PM options, please see Open the InLoox PM options.
Click Planning in the navigation pane and then click Notification Templates. On the right you see the Notifications area.
Select a template type from the list and click Download Designer to get to the InLoox PM Report Designer.
Install the InLoox PM Report Designer.
Select the option you require from the InLoox PM Report Designer dialog box. Then click Design.
Now, you can modify the selected notification template in the InLoox PM Notification Designer dialog box.

Message name	Application
Activity - modified	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if an activity is changed in the New Activity / Edit Activtiy dialog box or directly or indirectly in the project plan. For more information on how to edit an activity, see Create and edit an activity.
Activity - resource added	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if a resource is added to an activity using the New Activity / Edit Activtiy dialog box. For more information on how to add a resource, see Add resources.
Activity - resource removed	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if a resource is removed from an activity using the New Activity / Edit Activtiy dialog box. For more information on how to remove a resource, see Add resources.
Activity - deleted	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if an activity is deleted from the project plan, on the Planning page. For more information on how to remove an activity, see Create and edit an activity.
Milestone - modified	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if a milestone is changed using the New Milestone / Edit Milestone dialog box or directly or indirectly within the project plan. For more information on how to edit a milestone, see Create and edit a milestone.
Milestone - resource added	InLoox PM Web App generates this message, if a resource is added to a milestone using the New Milestone / Edit Milestone dialog box For more information on how to add a resource, see Add resources.
