Project Platform in the Cloud with Optimized Performance

San Francisco, November 25, 2014 – InLoox now! – the cloud-based project platform – is now faster than ever. Due to a more powerful infrastructure and a database update, software producer InLoox was able to significantly improve the performance of its SaaS solution. InLoox now! supports users with all relevant project management tasks like project planning, document management, reporting and project controlling in a virtual project space.

“The increase in performance is clearly noticeable in everyday project work. All our customers will benefit from it automatically because they receive this improvement like all updates of the platform for free”, says InLoox product developer Martin Gruenert.

Based on flexible pay-as-you-go plans, customers can subscribe to the cloud-based service on a monthly basis. Hosting takes place in Microsoft Azure data centers in the United States and Europe. The subscription is based on the number of users and starts at $19.95 per month. The package also includes software upgrades and free technical service through the customer support hotline.

It is up to the customers whether they want to access their project database via Microsoft Outlook or their web browser – both user client options are available and can be combined. All project data is automatically synchronized, ensuring that everyone is working with the most up-to-date information.

“With InLoox now!, companies that might not have the budget for an experienced IT administrator can benefit from an easily accessible project infrastructure. InLoox takes care of the installation, maintenance and on-going support of the server infrastructure”, says Dr. Andreas Tremel, InLoox President and Co-Founder. “Project teams can start their own project space literally within a few minutes and they can easily invite their team members to it. The latest increase in performance of InLoox now! helps the team to collaborate even faster and more efficiently.”

External or changing business partners can be easily integrated into a project access for temporary team members can be added and terminated as needed, giving the project leader the flexibility they need for successful project delivery. The platform allows project teams to collaborate across projects, company sites and departments. Customers can access the team’s project database from different devices, such as from a PC, an Apple Mac, a tablet or a smartphone.  

Besides the cloud-based project platform, InLoox customers still have the option to download the project software and to install it on-premise.
