Munich, February 9, 2023 - Munich-based software developer InLoox has launched its project management platform with enhanced and new features. With InLoox 11.1, project teams can simplify their workflows, organize the communication flow with project members more directly and individually, and make the internal information flow more transparent. InLoox 11.1 comes with a mind map in both applications for Windows and for Outlook and further with personalized settings for notifications. In the InLoox Web App, reports can be created for the first time. In addition, users of the two enterprise-wide solutions, InLoox Enterprise and OnPrem, can now view dashboards in the Web App to evaluate project data.

Easier to structure workflows with the mind map from the idea to the project task

InLoox 11.1 now offers a mindmap in both applications for Windows as well as for Outlook. This initially simplifies workflows between ideas and project tasks. Project managers or members can illustrate their ideas in the form of mindmaps, create project tasks directly from them and finally transfer them directly to other project members in the Kanban board. In the future, further mindmap functions will be added.

Targeted communication flow, individually adjustable notifications

Notifications in InLoox are sent automatically via email when changes are made: for example, in the project, tasks or planning elements. In addition to the standard settings, there are individual options. External service providers or business partners who do not have InLoox access can now be included by receiving automated emails as well. Project members can set their notifications individually. For example, they can change the frequency, such as to a weekly cycle. Or, if you want to deactivate notifications for certain projects, you can do this in the InLoox Web App for each project with one click.

In addition, the e-mail notification has been extended by a reply function. In InLoox Web App, one click takes you to the comments area. This allows project members to reply directly from their inbox to those comments that are addressed to them personally.

Create reports and view dashboards in InLoox Web App

InLoox Web App has been extended by one feature. Reports can now be accessed, downloaded, recreated and saved on the web. When creating new reports, the first step is to select the layout and then decide which data sets from the Project, Planning, Tasks, Documents, Time and Budgets sections should be used for the content. A finished report can be saved and reused in the Reports Gallery. A deep search in the reports allows users to quickly find the right hits. Reports can be distributed by, for example, copying the link to the report and then sending it to the project team or posting the link in a project comment or group chat.

Dashboards can now also be viewed in InLoox Web App. This allows project managers to quickly get an overview of the performance of their project portfolio as well as the most important project metrics for management. The dashboards can be selected from the standard templates and configured individually. All important data and developments are available at a glance, as is already familiar from the desktop app. The dashboards are only available in InLoox OnPrem and InLoox Enterprise, but not included in the InLoox Professional edition.
